On the occasion of Balidaan Diwas, organised by Akhil Kshatriya Mahasabha, far-right monk Madhuram Sharan Shiva, leader of the armed monks’ group Shiva Shakti Akhada, glorified Rana Sanga as a defender of his land, alleging the land is “turning green.” He called for combining shaastra (religious knowledge) with shastra (arms training), claimed Hindus are being looted and beaten, promoted the conspiracy theory of “love jihad,” and urged individuals to arm themselves.
VHP leader Virendra Pandey invoked Partition narratives, claiming Muslims were “sent off with garlands” while Hindus arriving from Pakistan were found dead in trains. He alleged that Muslims who follow the Quran consider Hindus “kafirs” and claimed their killing is sanctioned if they refuse to convert. He glorified figures such as Bappa Rawal, claiming he defeated invaders and took their women, framed Muslims as “enemies,” and claimed that those who once wore “salwar” under fear now challenge Hindu society.
He asserted that once Hindus unite under Hindutva, no Muslim can challenge them. He further accused Muslims of taking over economic opportunities, warned of demographic imbalance, called for population growth, and asserted that India belongs to “Sanatanis.” He emphasised the need for unity, arguing that neither the police, politicians, nor the government can protect people unless Hindus organise collectively, and claimed that if Hindus unite, no force in the world can challenge them. He alleged that madrasas promote extremism and conspiracies against Hindus, warned of plans to establish an Islamic state and “Dar-ul-Islam” by 2047, and raised slogans calling for continued struggle over Kashi, Mathura, and Ayodhya, asserting Hindu dominance and ownership over India.
