BJP MLA Nandkishore Gurjar praised women participating in a Kalash Yatra and claimed that Loni was once described as a “mini Pakistan” but had now become a stronghold of “Sanatanis.” He alleged that Hindus had faced oppression and attacks for years, and termed those he claimed had converted in the past as “cowards who wore salwar out of fear of the sword.” He further claimed that “jihadis” and mafias who once terrorised the area had been “dealt with” and forced to flee.
