Hindu nationalist supporter Vinay Chaudhary, while protesting the arrest of self-proclaimed cow vigilantes Akku Pandit and Daksh Chaudhary in connection with an incident of waving a gun and indulging in a fight during Holi, praised their work for “Hindutva” and referred to Muslims as “pigs” and “jihadis.” He also warned the police inspector who arrested them that they could set him on fire, similar to how Hanuman set fire to Lanka in the Ramayana.
