In Ghaziabad, Hindu Raksha Dal Leader Calls “Love Jihad” a “Termite” and Fearmongers About Muslim Population

Location: Loni, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh

At a Hanuman Chalisa event organised by the Hindu Raksha Dal, leader Sunny Bajrangi promoted the establishment of Hanuman Chalisa gatherings and peddled the anti-Muslim conspiracy theory of “love jihad,” describing it as a “termite” eating away at Hindu society. He alleged that “jihadis” conceal their identities to trap Hindu women. He also fearmongered about demographic change, claiming that within 20 years it would become unstoppable, criticising the “Hum Do, Hamare Do” norm, alleging that villages were becoming empty, and warning that unless Hindus united, “they will eat us.”
