In Ghaziabad, Hindu Raksha Dal leader incites hate against Muslims in army and housing

Bhupendra ‘Pinky’ Chaudhary, leader of the Hindu Raksha Dal, speaking at a religious narration event, referred to Muslims as “jihadis” and claimed that if they join the police or the army, no one would be able to protect Hindus, declaring that Hindus are only safe because of fellow Hindus in the police and the army. He falsely alleged that Muslim soldiers had previously dropped their weapons and refused to fight against Pakistan. He urged Hindus to ensure that no Muslim or non-Hindu is allowed to obtain housing in their areas. He also fearmongered about the Muslim population and opposed interfaith relationships.
