Far-right monk Mahant Raju Das invited people to join the Sanatan Ekta Padyatra, organized by Dhirendra Shastri (Bageshwar Dham Sarkar), claiming it aims to raise awareness and ensure India’s security. He called for the construction of a grand ‘Krishna Janmbhoomi’ Mandir, and demanded that India become a ‘Hindu Rashtra.’ He warned against alleged cattle slaughter, “love jihad,” and emphasized instilling traditional values in daughters. He alleged that Hindu population is declining, questioning why Hindus are declining when it should be “chadar and father” instead. He blamed this decline on Hindus not being “kattar” (radical) towards religion and the nation, citing a time when it was “just us” and alleging that Hindus have now declined in nine states.
