In Gorakhpur, VHP leader warns Hindus of demographic change and Muslim takeover

Location: Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh

At a gathering at a temple, Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Rajkamal Gupta targeted Muslims in his speech, fearmongering about demographic change. He claimed Muslims had allegedly occupied the area to such an extent that the road to the mandir is no longer visible. He alleged that what was once a “100 percent Hindu area” had been overtaken by “95 percent Muslims,” accusing the community of erasing Hindu identity. He warned that Hindus must act to prevent themselves from “fading away.”
