AHP–Rashtriya Bajrang Dal leader Sanjeev Pateria invoked historical Muslim and British rule to argue that Hindus had been subjugated for centuries. He alleged that failure to instil Hindu values in children had led to events such as those depicted in ‘The Kerala Story’ and blamed Hindus for neglecting their children’s upbringing. He fearmongered about demographic change, claiming that a declining Hindu population would leave Hindus with only “20 years” of freedom remaining. He alleged that Jammu and Kashmir, West Bengal, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh were being affected by these demographic shifts. Referring to Partition, he cited Savarkar and asserted that all Muslims should have been sent to Pakistan.
