During the Virat Hindu Sammelan organised by Sakal Hindu Samaj, a speaker claimed that there are more than five crore “ghuspaithiye” (infiltrators) and “Rohingya Muslims” who have arrived from Bangladesh and Pakistan. He alleged that they have been given voting rights and livelihoods due to vote-bank politics, in contrast to Hindu tribal communities such as those in Garhwal. He also targeted Christian convent schools and warned of what he described as a “demographic change.” He further peddled the conspiracy theory of “love jihad” and religious conversion, alleging that more than 3.65 lakh girls are abducted every year and become trapped in such cases.
