BJP MLA and Cabinet Minister Nitesh Rane, during a campaign speech, issued an ultimatum to those he referred to as “Rohingya-Bangladeshis” to leave Mumbai by the 15th, threatening that from the 16th onwards, not a single one of them would be allowed to live in the city.
