At a Trishul Diksha event organised by Sri Ram Sena, Pramod Muthalik delivered an anti-Muslim and anti-Christian hate speech. He accused Christian educational institutions, hospitals, convents, and orphanages of serving as instruments for religious conversion, alleging that they were established to facilitate conversions to Christianity rather than provide social service. He also promoted the conspiracy theory of “love jihad,” claiming that Muslim women had formed groups such as “Shaheen Brigade” to befriend Hindu college students, gain their trust, obtain their contact information, and introduce them to Muslim men as part of an organised effort to target Hindu women, and termed them “virus” and a “cancer” against the nation. Muthalik further announced that his organisation would distribute swords in addition to trishuls in the future, challenging anyone to stop them. During the event, participants also took an oath while holding trishuls, pledging to act against what they described as “love jihad,” “land jihad,” terrorism, and alleged Christian religious conversions.
