During Hartalika Teej celebrations, attended by VHP-Bajrang Dal members, Bajrang Dal leader Tannu Sharma peddled the anti-Muslim conspiracy theory of “love jihad,” referring to Muslims as “jihadis.” He warned Hindu women that they were allegedly being trapped and manipulated through social media, which he claimed had become a tool for “jihadis” to destroy Hindu daughters’ lives.
