VHP-Bajrang Dal members assaulted members of the NGO HAWAL Sanstha in front of the police, shortly after a press conference, accusing the organisation of carrying out religious conversions. The parents of a 25-year-old woman associated with the NGO levelled the allegations. However, the woman denied the claims, stating that it was her own family that had been harassing her and falsely accusing the organisation after she chose to leave home.
