VHP-Bajrang Dal organised a Shastra Pujan (weapons worship) event where leader Khagendra Bhargava claimed that without weapons, faith, scriptures, the nation, and culture cannot be protected. He described Bajrang Dal as the solution to all “societal problems”, including addiction, “love jihad”, illegal infiltration (ghuspethiye), and the Waqf Board, referring to these as “unjust demons.” He also spoke about a “demographic imbalance” and stated that every Hindu family is part of this “war,” whether they acknowledge it or not. He further demanded that children should obtain a gun license before a driver’s license.
