VHP-Bajrang Dal leader Tannu Sharma, at a Garba event, delivered a speech peddling the anti-Muslim conspiracy theory of “love jihad.” He likened Muslim men to “modern-day demons” who disguise themselves to infiltrate Garba pandals and prey on Hindu women. He claimed that while their appearances have changed, with trimmed moustaches, long beards, and caps, their “malicious intent” remains the same. He urged Hindu women to “behead” such “jihadi” who attend Garba events.
