Far-right vigilantes assaulted a young man and woman after finding them partying in a hotel. When the woman said she was the man’s friend, they physically assaulted her, moral-policed her, and warned her of ‘love jihad’ and ‘halala’. The man was beaten for allegedly committing ‘love jihad’. The vigilantes created chaos at the venue before police arrived, rescued the couple, and began an investigation.
