Taro Sonam Liyak, president of the Arunachal Pradesh Indigenous Youth Organization (APIYO), along with his team, entered a mosque and confronted those present, demanding to see the mosque’s documents and insisting it be shut down. He claimed the government had promised that all mosques in the area would be dismantled and accused them of functioning illegally. They further forced the mosque imam to chant “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.”
