At a public event, Pravin Togadia, president of the Antarrashtriya Hindu Parishad, glorified the Babri Masjid demolition by saying “no law helped us, we used sticks,” and urged Hindus to use sticks again. He fearmongered about Hindu population decline, claimed Mecca was a Shiva temple, demanded a population control law to curb the “topiwalla population,” called for expelling “3 crore Bangladeshi infiltrators,” urged exclusive intra-Hindu trade, and said Hindus should follow the “Israel model,” asserting that “if one crore Jews can kill 15 crore Muslims, we are braver than them.”
