BJP MLA Balmukund Acharya targeted a Muslim attendee from Maharashtra during a felicitation program for school directors and teachers, accusing him of not chanting Vande Mataram, questioning if he was an outsider, and forcing him to repeat it along with Bharat Mata ki Jai. He then asked his name and alleged that some people live and eat in India but speak against the country.
