Members of the AHP–Rashtriya Bajrang Dal staged a protest against the allocation of 42 seats to Muslim students in the first merit list of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Institute of Medical Excellence (SMVDIME), alleging it was an attempt to “Islamify” the board by misusing Hindu devotees’ money to fund students from other communities. They marched toward Raj Bhawan to submit a memorandum.
