Pravin Togadia, founder and president of AHP–Rashtriya Bajrang Dal, addressed a gathering at the Hindu Sathi Sammelan, glorifying the removal of “symbols of Babur” from India. He boasted of issuing threats of violence against anyone who opposed the Ram Mandir construction, saying that they had declared, “we will step on their chest, crush the enemies, and build the temple.” He promoted the campaign of “Hindu Hi Aage,” asserting that a “Hindu majority” would be maintained through law and force. Manoj Kumar called for the establishment of Hanuman Chalisa centres in each locality, asserting it as a means to achieve “Akhand Bharat” by “erasing Pakistan and Bangladesh” to unify the region. He swore an oath by Shivaji as his “descendant,” warning that they would “cut the hands off the ‘Mulla’” who slaughters cows.
