In Jodhpur, monk urges boycotting bhajans with non-Hindu performers

Location: Jodhpur, Rajasthan

At Vishaal Bhajan Sandhya, Hindu Monk Omji Maharaj derogatorily referred to Muslims as “Miyas” and “Topiwale,” and claimed that they hide their identities to infiltrate Hindu religious spaces and called for their exclusion from such events. He also claimed that non-Hindus have no right to sing bhajans and should be thrown off the stage. He further made his audience take a pledge of boycotting events such as satsangs where non-Hindus are actively participating as singers or musicians.
