In Kanpur Dehat, Armed Monk Urges Hindu Youth to Pick Up Weapons and Kill ‘Jihadis’

Far-right monk Madhuram Sharan Shiva, leader of the armed monks’ group Shiva Shakti Akhada, criticized the slogan “ishwar allah ek hi naam,” citing the reported killing of Hindus in Bangladesh, alleging that the evidence of endangered Hindus are. He urged Hindu youth to arm themselves and display arms during religious festivals instead of organising bhandaras. He alleged there are nine states in India where Hindus cannot organise Hindu religious events, alleging that they had 90 percent Hindus, who have ceased to exist. He says he is looking for Dashrath-like Hindus who would tell their sons to “pick up arms and kill jihadis.” He targeted Hindus whose children study in Christian missionary schools, claiming they are “traitors.”
