In Kasba, Himanta Sarma Calls Muslims ‘Ghuspaithiya’ and Urges Their Ouster

Location: Kasba, Purnia, Bihar

Key themes from Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s campaign speech: “In Assam, there are 40% Muslims, and we are 60%. And yet we have formed the government twice by suppressing and showing the people, and we are going to do it the third time because Hindus are united; These people (Congress and RJD) after winning the election do nothing but massage the ghuspaithiyas (infiltrators) with oil. I come from a society where minorities have a huge rule, but we are certain about one thing– Bharat belongs to Hindus and will always remain; When I heard the name Raghunathpur, I thought it is a land of Lord Ram and Janki Maiyya. People told me the candidate against us there is named Osama. I asked how did Osama came to be in the land of Ram and Laxmna, I asked if he is Osama or Osama Bin Laden. People told me he is totally Osama Bin Laden. I told them it is time to throw all these small Osama Bin Ladens from Bihar in the sea.”
