At the West Bengal BJP Legislature Party meeting, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah claimed that with BJP governments in Tripura, Assam, and Bengal, “ghuspaith” (infiltration) and cattle smuggling would become nearly impossible and the border would be turned into an “impenetrable fortress” for national security. He described the BJP’s electoral victory as plugging the country’s “largest loophole” and pledged to identify and expel every “ghuspaithiya” (infiltrator), promising to make the country and West Bengal “ghuspaithiya-mukt” (free of infiltrators).
