A viral social media post showing a roadside rangoli with “I Love Muhammad” sparked protests. Members of the Muslim community staged a road blockade on the Ahilyanagar–Sambhajinagar highway, leading to heightened tensions. Police carried out a lathicharge to disperse the crowd, arresting around 30 protesters. This was the first major communal unrest in the area in 20 years.
