At a volunteer meeting of the Antar Rashtriya Hindu Parishad–Rashtriya Bajrang Dal, Rajni Thakural blamed Muslims for heroin addiction in Punjab, Himachal, and J&K. She urged parents to teach their children the difference between Hindus and Christians or Muslims, claiming this would prevent the killing of Hindu women. She stoked fears about Muslim migrants from Uttar Pradesh settling in Punjab and explicitly called for an economic boycott of Muslims.
She claimed that economically boycotting Muslims would prevent Hindu women from eloping with Muslim men and promoted the “love jihad” conspiracy. She also demanded the government abolish the Waqf Board.
