At a meeting organised by Antarrashtriya Hindu Parishad – Rashtriya Bajrang Dal, its President Pravin Togadia admitted to recruiting a retired Gorkha regiment officer to train Hindus in combat. He boasted of distributing trishuls and running “trishul factories”, declaring, “I have always believed in giving Hindus military training and tactical support.” Encouraging violence, he assured followers, “Go and fight; if you have a legal case, Pravin Togadia will fight till the Supreme Court. If you end up in jail, I will send money to your house.” Togadia celebrated the demolition of the Babri Masjid, claiming, “It’s because of me that Hindus united under the slogan of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and demolished the Babri structure. That’s how we actually built the Ram Mandir.”
