In Mathura, Devkinandan Thakur Calls for Sanatan Board and Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple

Location: Narsipuram Colony, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh

During a Parshuram Jayanti Shobha Yatra, religious preacher Devkinandan Thakur demanded the formation of a Sanatan Board. Alleging that religious conversions are taking place, he claimed that if Brahmins unite, they could build the “Krishna Janambhoomi” on the lines of the Ram Mandir and put an end to cow slaughter. He also opposed the UGC bill against caste-based discrimination in educational institutions, describing it as a conspiracy to divide Hindus.
