Cow-vigilantes brutally assaulted dairy operators Junaid (24) and Arman (21), resulting in Junaid’s death from his injuries on June 17. The victims’ family alleged that Bajrang Dal members stopped the two men while they were transporting cows they bought for their dairy business, assaulted them, and robbed them of their mobile phones and money. The family found them admitted to a hospital the next day by the police. Three of the assailants- Dhruv Chaturvedi, Gagan Dubey and Rampal Rajput have been arrested in connection with the attack.
