Communal clashes broke out after an alleged assault on an RSS leader. The altercation reportedly began over a bike collision involving the leader and local Muslim youths, which quickly escalated into a physical clash between members of both communities. Following this, a large crowd of Hindu nationalist supporters gathered outside the police station, burned tyres, demanded arrests, and vandalised and looted fruit stalls. Additional police forces were deployed, and Section 144 was imposed to prevent further unrest after incidents of stone pelting and property damage.
