At a Hindu Sammelan, a far-right speaker claimed that the principle of Sarva Dharma Sama Bhava had weakened Hindu society, contributed to the Partition of India, and prevented India from becoming a Hindu nation. The speaker also fearmongered about an alleged decline in the Hindu population and the growing population of religious minorities in states such as Goa, warned about Muslim voting patterns and halal certification, and claimed that alleged illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators had begun fleeing India due to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
