Former BJP MLA Sangeet Som, speaking at a sword distribution event organised by several Hindu groups, declared that the BJP would construct grand temples in Mathura and Kashi. He questioned the need to wait for the court’s permission, arguing that those who allegedly destroyed the original temples had not sought court’s approval. He further urged the organisers to equip every Hindu household with swords.
