In Muzaffarnagar, CM Dhami touts “love jihad” “land jihad” and demolitions as achievements

During a memorial event in Muzaffarnagar for martyred state agitators on the anniversary of the Rampur Tiraha shooting, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami promoted the anti-Muslim conspiracy theories of “love jihad,” “land jihad,” and “thook jihad,” claiming that his government has taken strict action against them, including “land jihad mafias” allegedly occupying government land. He also highlighted the enactment of laws against religious conversion and riots. He boasted about the demolition of more than 500 shrines and mosques terming them illegal, the closure of around 250 madrasas, and the introduction of a bill to abolish the madrasa board. He further referenced “Operation Kalnemi” and emphasized the need to maintain the demographic composition of the state.
