Taro Sonam Liyak, president of the Arunachal Pradesh Indigenous Youth Organization (APIYO), went to a mosque and warned the Imam that mosques would not be allowed in the region. He also accused the Imam of being a Bangladeshi immigrant and demanded to see his documents, claiming that Bangladeshi infiltrators have settled in large numbers in the state.
