Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, speaking to the media after a public event, claimed that they must continue to “create trouble” for “Miyas.” He said, “We must keep sending notices to miyas; otherwise, they will sit on your head. I have already stated that whether we succeed or not, we will keep creating trouble. There is nothing to hide—I am troubling them. To show that Assamese people are resisting; there will be two to four notices each through the SR (Special Revision,) evictions, and the Border Police. We will continue creating all these troubles. They are coming to the office after being served notices, and they are suffering. We should keep doing these things.”
