At the Unveiling of the Statue of Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji, BJP MLA T. Raja Singh spread conspiracies of ‘love jihad’, ‘land jihad’, and ‘Waqf board jihad’; he warned of consequences if “cow slaughter, ‘land jihad’, and ‘love jihad’” weren’t stopped within four years. He claimed Hindus follow “hum do hamare do” while Muslims follow “hum paanch hamare pachis.” He also targeted madarsas, alleging they receive unlimited funding and teach jihad to children; he called on Hindus to launch a “Hindu jihad” in response.
