VHP-Bajrang Dal held a meeting for Navratri, issuing strict instructions to Dandiya event organizers. Bajrang Dal leader Jitendra Pratap stated that non-Hindus must not be allowed entry in the events, claiming Hindu women would otherwise be unsafe. He threatened that any non-Hindu entering the pandals would be forced to consume gaumutra (cow-urine), resulting in “ghar wapsi.” They also warned that Bajrang Dal members would be stationed at the events to enforce compliance, including compulsory tilak and aarti for entrants.
