At an event titled “Jihad vs Dharam Yuddh,” organised by Sudarshan News, far-right monk Kalicharan Mahraj peddled conspiracy theories around “love jihad” and religious conversion, claiming that the “Hindu-fication of politics” was the solution to all problems. He further alleged that 100% of Muslims vote to promote Islam and the Islamisation of the nation, and engage in jihad and ghazwa. He also fearmongered about the Muslim population in the country.
