In Panchkula, Pravin Togadia Claims Hindu Genocide, Calls to Enforce Hindu Majority by Force

Location: Panchkula, Haryana

Pravin Togadia, founder and president of AHP-Rashtriya Bajrang Dal, speaking at an organisational meeting, claimed that the Vatican Church was established over a Durga temple, that Hinduism was prohibited, and that Hindus were subsequently slaughtered. He claimed that Mecca once housed a Shiv Mandir and described Prophet Mohammad as the son of a Brahmin pujari. He fearmongered over the Muslim population, claiming that if Hindus become a minority, even the Indian government would be unable to protect women, and asserted that India would become “Hindu-less” by 2071. He framed “Hindus versus others” as a continuation of the battle between “gods and demons.” He also boasted about issuing threats of violence against anyone who opposed the Ram Mandir construction and declared that their first action plan was to maintain a “Hindu majority” through law or by force. He demanded a population control law and the expulsion of three crore Bangladeshis, promoted the campaign “3 bache Hindu sache,” and urged Hindus to buy from and employ only Hindus. He further asserted that Hindus would be “the ones to beat and win.” He called for strict population-monitoring laws, claiming that families with more than two children should not receive subsidies or have the right to vote.
