Prime Minister Narendra Modi, at a foundation stone-laying ceremony for several development projects, targeted those he referred to as “ghuspaith” (infiltrators), calling them a demographic threat in the states of Bihar, West Bengal and Assam, and claiming that people are concerned about women’s safety from them. He accused the Congress and RJD of protecting the alleged infiltrators and declared that his government would free the country from them.
