BJP members visited the residence of a Hindu family and demanded that they evict their daughter and her Muslim husband, claiming that Muslims would not be allowed to reside in the locality. The family stated that the couple had been married for ten years and had been living there since. The BJP members asserted that Sanatan Dharma is the supreme religion and said they would no longer tolerate the Muslim man’s presence in the area, alleging that the marriage was a case of “love jihad.”
