Authorities carried out a demolition drive on a dargah (shrine) near the Pathri Roh bridge, claiming it to be an illegal encroachment on approximately two bighas of government land. The demolition was carried out jointly by the Irrigation Department and the city administration as part of the government’s ongoing “anti-encroachment” drive.
