Rakesh ‘Uttarakhandi’ Tomar, founder of Rudrasena, while attending a protest demanding a ban on alcohol and meat shops in the region, called for prohibiting non-Hindus from entering Rishikesh, citing Haridwar as an example where, he claimed, non-Hindus are barred within a five-kilometre radius.
