Rohit Pradhan, leader of the Hindu Suraksha Seva Manch, criticised Hindus for consuming meat and invoked historical figures who, he claimed, did not sacrifice their lives for Hindus to consume meat. He alleged that “jihadis” target temples, women, and property, and claimed that Muslims had already received Pakistan, Article 370, and land control through the Waqf Board, while Hindus received nothing. He fearmongered over Hindu population decline, claiming that in states such as Kerala, Hindus have decreased while women are being converted or killed along with their families. He further alleged that there is no Hindu-Muslim brotherhood, claiming that Hindus are viewed as “kafirs” by Muslims, and urged attendees to question Muslims on why they do not say “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” why they target women, and why they raise slogans about breaking the country. He also asserted that Muslims whose ancestors converted from Hinduism have no right to use caste identities such as “Jat,” “Gujjar,” or “Rajput.”
