Police arrested four Muslim men and publicly paraded them following accusations of burning a banner that read “Hindu Rashtra” on the road while performing with fire during the Muharram procession. VHP-Bajrang Dal had staged protests and called for a shutdown, demanding that the accused be charged under the National Security Act (NSA).
