Devbhoomi Sangharsh Samiti staged a protest opposing the offering of Friday prayers by Muslims at a local mosque and attempted to recite the Hanuman Chalisa in front of it, claiming that the land is registered as a Hindu religious site. Protesters raised slogans demanding the demolition of the mosque and shouted provocative chants, including “Apply Dabur oil and erase the name of Babur.”
