Rohit Pradhan, leader of the Hindu Suraksha Seva Manch, delivered a speech targeting Muslims, using dehumanising slurs such as “pigs” and “jihadi pigs.” He claimed Muslims “target other faiths,” denied their brotherhood, and described them as “qasayi” (butchers) who seek to destroy temples and encroach on land. He framed threats from “jihadis” as validation of Hindu faith, asserting that Hindus are protected by their deities, not “Allah,” and accused Muslims of harming temples and cows, rejecting slogans like “Bharat Mata ki Jai,” while contrasting Hindu and Muslim beliefs in derogatory terms. He described Sanatan Dharma as a “path of light” that respects women, while alleging that Islam promotes practices such as “72 hoors” and “halala,” and urged Hindus not to fear Muslims, citing their demographic majority. He invoked Partition to question Muslim presence in India and criticised secularism, called on attendees to monitor interactions between Hindu women and Muslim men and to compel them to recite slogans like “Vande Mataram” and “Bharat Mata ki Jai.” He invoked the disputed site of Krishna Janmbhoomi, suggesting Muslims should concede the site if they are “brothers.” He further referred to Muslims as “sons of Aurangzeb and Babur” and “mullahs” wearing “topi,” while praising Hindu ancestors for resisting conversion.
