Authorities demolished a 65-year-old madrasa, Madarsa Islamia Arabia Anwarul Uloom Bangai, even though the case remains sub judice, raising concerns about contempt of court and targeting of minority institutions. The demolition was reportedly ordered by the local tehsildar, who claimed the madrasa was built on village panchayat land. Established in 1960, the madrasa had served as a religious and educational institution for the local Muslim community for over six decades.
