In Sivasagar, leader Situ Baruah threatens violence and declares Muslims unwelcome

During a protest against Bengali-origin Muslims, Situ Baruah, leader of the Jatiya Sangrami Sena, delivered a dangerous speech, issuing direct threats of violence and declaring that no “Miya” would be allowed to live or work in Upper Assam. He urged them to watch videos of past assaults as a warning. The crowd also chanted that they would “beat them like cattle.”
